Factory fitted alarm?
My 1992 V6 has an alarm with no markings to identify it, apart from a 1992 date stamp. Were alarms fitted by the factory? if so whats the chances of getting a keyfob for it. If not, same question. Dont really want to buy a new alarm. Would like remote cenral locking too

Why would you want to kill the clutch, tyres etc on a poor little MX-3? You can have a lot more fun driving it than standing still making smoke for the local youths to whoop at!

My V6 does the same regardless of outside temperature and regardless of whats running: If you blip the throttle or come to a stop, the engine revs settle at 1500 rpm for about 20 seconds and then goes down to 850rpm. This happens every time. It also makes very slow driving in trafic uncomfortable

I havnt looked , but im assuming its that 4k7 resistor that goes in place of your inlet temp sensor? The one for £5 on ebay branded as a 'chip'

My MX-3 has a kind of 2 stage idle sort of what you would expect if the automatic choke was just turning off.<p>At any temperature, blip the throttle and the engine will drop to a 1500rpm idle. Iv Just bought my MX-3 V6 today! I got a discount because the exhaust Is leaking I think from the Flexible bit before the cat (please dont let it be the cat!) Has anyone changed this bit in UK..is it expensive?<p>By the way: will look into Jap car meeting
