Re: What clutches for K8??
Also, why are there so many different formats for clutches? I found one site that offered 3 puck, 4 puck, 6 puck, and continuous friction options......what's the differences? Are more pucks better or worse? Are there tradeoffs?

What clutches for K8??
I'm not sure how hard the previous owners of my MX3 drove it, and it's at 90K miles. Plus, I am thinking I'll be adding a wet shot of nitrous some time soon for the occasional once a month 1/4 mile runs at the local speedway.
So I was looking at new clutches. Now first off, I'll be damned if I spe...

Can't you just find some high-temp flex loom and use that over the stock stuff?
http://www.wirecare.com/wc_product_list.asp?prod=PT&prodline=ES

Re: Problem wiring my new cd player
Just buy a wiring harness adapter from Circuit City or somewhere. You don't want to be hacking up the factory wiring if you can help it. You'll regret it later.

Re: Fuel Filter
Fuel filter replacement is one of the easiest things to do for your car. You just release the fuel filter from the clamp holding it in, loosen the clamps around the in and out line for the fuel, then pull out he old one and replace with the new one. You shouldn't need to pay someone to do your fuel ...

Factory look vinyl
I'm going to be starting up some fiberglassing in the interior soon and was wondering if anyone has a line on vinyl that is a dead ringer for the factory stuff? Otherwise I'll need to hit up the local upholstery shop and see what I can find. Also was thinking of buying a whole dash and skinning the ...

Re: cd player installation
I've always been able to use some really, really long (4"??) thin nails. Get 4. Stick 1 through each recepticle at the side (2 each side) enough to activate the release mechanism. Then, pull the stereo out. Usually you'll need to pull one side (i.e. the left) out a couple millimeters, then the ...

Re: Help!! my mx3 died on me
Is it only doing this during the day, or early morning too? I wouldn't doubt the heat is getting to your car. What is it today? 115 F??
Also, might want to check the oil cap and EGR. I noticed when trying to run my car while adding an oil additive that the engine would not run right without the oi...
