I thought a bad head gasket was the main culprit usually of letting the oil and coolant mix?

TB cooling option other than coolant line removal?
I had an idea as an alternative to the throttle body bypass by completely bypassing the line to it. What about taking the coolant right before it his the TB, and passing it through one of those little auxillary transmission coolers? Wouldn't thins cool it off a little more, while still allowing the ...

Re: 2.5L cam/intake info.....dynos
Really? I always though larger cams were better for forced induction? Or is it higher profile, shorter duration?
I'd like a cam that made a bit more power in daily driving, but helped out a nitrous setup for my 1.8. What'd be good for that kind of setup?
Does anyone know the cam lift and duratio...

2.5L cam/intake info.....dynos
Was tooling around and found this dyno info regarding what would happen if you just swapped out the cams and intake manifolds on a KLDE:
http://www.interpreptuning.com/ Follow the link to: racing engines, then Mazda 2.5L V6
Maybe it's a rehash, and has been posted before, but it's very interest...

Re: pints of paint for complete job?
$400?????

When you're done with your paint job, post pics. If it's a decent job, it might be worth my while to drive to California for a good paint job. Are you in So Cal or the Bay?

Re: V12 anybody
From what I hear, the TT has the second engine in the rear, not inline, so I suppose it's plausible. The question, however, is why??

I don't think an MX3 looks like a damned thing like a Supra no matter how much boddy cladding you put on it.

Re: FREE CARFAX (Until 8-6-03 ONLY)
Interesting. It asys it failed a California emmissions last year. I didn't get any service receipts between the dates it failed and passed. I just emailed the previous owner to see what she did to get it to pass. I'm thinking something big was replaced if she had to hide the receipt from it.

Forget shipping across the boarder. Every time I've tried shipping to Canada, I was f'd in one way or another because of either a screw up in shipping, or exessive tarriffs.
Now, I will only ship to APO/FPO's out of the U.S.

Re: Amp problem
If you think it's just the remote turn on wire, you can take a small piece of wire and short it from the 12V+ terminal of the amp to the remote turn on of the amp. That will supply a 12V+ to the amp turn on, which is what it needs to activate. That'll at least tell you if it's the remote turn on.
...
