Re: Plastic intake manifold
I dont think I'd actually want one, it was just really bizarre seeing it there. I wouldn't trust it in Canadian winters and I cant imagine it saves that much weight. It would make mass producing custom manis really easy though depending on the price of the plastic.

Plastic intake manifold
I test drove the mazda 3 and afterwards when I looked in the engine bay I realized the intake manifold was plastic! Does anyone know what type of plastic is used? Can I get a big tub and pour my own manifold?

Re: UK differences
I thought you had a different stock bumper, a strut bar and side skirts? I want to make my car look stock Euro spec. To cut down on shipping and costs I might be able to trade parts with someone or bring parts over to help cut down on shipping.

UK differences
What differences are there between the UK and NA versions? DOes anyone in the UK know where I could get the parts cheap? I go to the UK about once a year so if I can get them delivered to my relatives' house I can bring them back next time I'm over.

Canadian suspension
Where is the best place (website or store) to get suspension parts from in Canada? I don't want to have to pay import fees and deal with taxes. I'm looking for some ST or eibach springs.
