Re: Possible to flood MX-3 on start?
where exactly are you suggesting oil may be leaking? externally from the cover? I don't think that's it, I know what oil burning off the manifold smells like. what exactly does it do when you do WOT when starting the car that relieves the flooding? it seemed to me that that's what flooded my car in ...

Re: Possible to flood MX-3 on start?
Hey solo. The car got great gas milage on the drive, so I doubt it's the injectors leaking. Using the HEI + coil mod for years with no problems. So, is it technically possible to flood an EFI car in the way I described? IE. If the motor is cranking from the starter, but not at operational speed (idl...

Possible to flood MX-3 on start?
Hi y'all. Yesterday I tried to start my car for the long ride from Santa Cruz to the Sierra Foothills for thanksgiving. No go. [EBAY] Erebuni MazdaSpeed clone wing
I all. I'm selling an Erebuni fiberglass clone of the MazdaSpeed wing. The fiberglass is in perfect condition, and the wing has been painted black and buffed to a mirror finish. The paint has some feather cracks around one of the corners -- barely visible from a few feet away. There are some other m...

Re: 91 octane on a n/a ze is a must?
I'm at about 2400. The other day I accidentally put 87 in (87-89-91 in California). while temporarily using the K8 ECU w/ KL02 VAF (functioning ECU/check engine light codes). I noticed a huge loss in power -- read-out the EDU codes to see (knock sensor). Checked sensor wiring, then cleared the codes...

Re: What Tires Fit the Stock 15" Rim?
I'm sure they'll fit, but they probably won't be as safe the the OE size because the bead won't seat as well with 215 width. Your speedo will be off, the car will be higher off the road, gears taller. It will probably handle considerably less precisely than the OE size because of the decreased sidew...
