Re: *sigh* Girlfriends....
Agreed - once a cheater always a cheater. Girls like that are always looking for something new and shiny. You say you've been with her for 3 years...this is what happens with girls like that. I've had this **** happen to me as well and I caught her. It's ridiculous and you shouldn't stand for it! Ki...

Re: Best Suspension Choice?
Everyone is going to tell you something different based on their experiences. So much of it has to do with exactly what you're looking for... I have the Eibach Pro Kit springs paired with the Escort ZX2 struts on 17"s. I am absolutely in love with this combination. Not quite as low or stiff as ...

That ALICE program is pretty cool except she doesn't know why my check engine light comes on. I guess she's not OBDII compliant...shame.

Re: For those with 17"s, what tire pressure you running
If you're running stock, by all means use the door jamb sticker. That's what it's there for. 28 psi - that means you have a GS, RS is 32. I couldn't bring myself to use 28 psi for a low-profile 17" tire. It seems criminal to have it that low - increases the chances of denting a rim, you know? B...

Re: Check engine light and stalling.
It's the other sensor. On the passenger side of the engine. It's the only sensor with a green plug. It attaches to a metal plate that comes off (you don't have to, but it makes it easier). Coming into the thermosensor is 2 tiny coolant hoses, which have to be removed - observe which one goes where! ...

Re: NGK Wires?
I have them, and they're excellent. Check other stores for comparison shopping too. I got lucky and only paid $49 CDN when Canadian Tire had a sale. Can't go wrong with that! Make sure you use dielectric grease on the boots too, it makes a huge difference in corrosion resistance and waterproofing. E...

Re: Check engine light and stalling.
Well I changed the water thermosensor...bad news, nothing changed! Grr. Back to swapping parts I guess. A few more EGR pieces to go and then I'm finally throwing in the towel and going to the dealer for diagnostics. Curse you, OBDII... Heaven17, let us know how your problem/solution worked out for y...

Re: How much is your mx worth?
I think all of you people that would sell it for a decent price are CRAZY. I honestly don't believe there is a car in this price range that can even hold a candle to an MX-3. I love the hell out of mine, and I'd rather hand it down to a worthy friend than watch some punk kid hand over some cash and ...

Re: Engine Temperature MX3 GS?? PLS READ
Several silly things you can try. First, you can drill a hole in your termostat, and the car will never warm up properly, kinda like a stuck open thermostat. Second of all, get a cheap aftermarket thermostat, or one with a different temp range - same idea as the hole. I had a cheap one and it was AL...

Re: Check engine light and stalling.
This is crazy, I have the exact same issue. I did a thousand searches, unplugged a million things, and no relief! So far it seemed it was the EGR, but car still doesn't run properly when I disabled it. Coolant temp sensor, good one! My car's OBDII so I can't check the codes myself (too cheap and too...

Re: Opinions on where to buy tires?
I got Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s from tirerack.com. The prices are excellent, arrives fast...just watch out for the UPS border fees and all that. They are BRUTAL. If you're in the states it's fine, but to Canada, they are litterally sick. UPS sucks. Yuck.
