I don't believe that's the answer. The gearbox drives the car in forward and reverse. The car takes probably 40 seconds to geto 60 mph. It has been diaganosed by two transmission specialists and they said it wasn't the tranny. The dealer said it was the tranny and pointed out that it had burnt oil.....

Performance fault
Amy has a lovely motor, it is a mazda MX3 with the V6 and the GS. Problem it that it lack any kind of performance. It will not wheel spin in fresh rain or on loose gravel. If you floor the accel, it will go upto 6000 rpm but it takes for ever to get there. I can out run her in my 87 2.4 liter forkli...
