Tensioner Pulley Bearings
Can anyone tell me what #/type of bearing is used for the tensioner pulleys for the water pump/ps and alternator/ac.
I searched but couldn't find what i was looking for and would rather not pay mazda prices. Thanks

Re: Different distributor types??
Not that it will matter much to you now; but on your old distributor did you have the black and silver sticker still on it. Look at the part #'s. Then go to the autozone web site and look up distys for the car. It will show the large and small rotor types with different #'s. One will match exactly. ...

Re: KLZE curved neck manifold VACUUM hookups. Please help!
Just a quick note. Be real careful if you do any work with those chambers or the green check valve. My hoses were very stiff and I broke the plastic nipples off the one chamber and the check valve. The dealer charged me $48 for the chamber and $37 for the check valve. Not cheap for bits of plastic.

Re: got some problems!?!?!?!?!?!
look in the v6 faq for how to check your engine code. I think the pics are gone but maybe you did it before or know someone who has. All you really have to do is put a paper clip to connect the pins it mentions in your diagnostic box under the hood. Drivers side near firewall. Turn your key to on bu...

you are probably already very familiar with PA emissions. I know I am. However lots of the more rural counties in PA have no emissions. I hear that it will soon be statewide but not sure when it goes into effect.

where'd you get the end links at. I'm planning on replacing mine in the spring but haven't yet looked into where to get the parts.
thanks

my car went from starting just fine to needing to be cranked for a while. I had a check engine light though. I replaced the distributor and all was fine. Your situation sounds a little different but the dist is another possibility

Re: Exhaust recommendations
You'll probably get a nice reply to "search" but here's some real quick info. There a very few places that make a cat back system for our cars. I think mazda speed has one but it will be $$$$$. Pacesetter is the other one I know of: relatively cheap but know to rust quickly (but not in all...

How to clean egr port on engine
Right now I have my IM off and I am cleaning it. I cleaned the port (on the IM) that goes from the engine and ends right at the front left of the IM. It was caked with cabon build up and black sludge. I believe this is the egr return port. If not please correct me. Anyway, the port on the engine its...

Re: Please help; what is this part...
Yeah there are two large black chambers connected by a hose and then off the pasengers side there is a green colored plastic cylinder with a large black rubber pad around it.
If it is the vacuum chambers I guess I'm going to the dealer $$$$$$$.
Thanks

Please help; what is this part...
Well I'm in the process of replacing my rear valve cover gasket(as you can see from my last post). To make a long story short i mistakenly tried to disconnect two vacuum hoses that i shouldn't have. The hoses connect to the plastic 'valve' that is bolted to the underside of the intake manifold. Its ...

Re: Tranny's to fit MX-3 GS ATX
I've got a possible answer but also a question. It seems many people do the KL-ZE swap. As far as I know most KLZE's were mated to auto transmissions. I've seen prices from somewhere that the KL-ZE only costs $200 US more to include the ATX with it. To me this seems like one should be able to get an...

Need new plugs for use w/ MSD 8.5 wires
Hi all I'm about to do a tune up and when searching for new wires no one around me carries ngk (pepboys, autozone, national, NAPA). As oppose to order them online I got a set of MSD 8.5mm wires for a ford probe gt 93-96. Searching tells me they should work. Now I want to get good plugs to go with th...

Suspension or engine problem......
Hi all. Not sure if I should post this in the v6 forum or here since i'm not sure what the problem is. Anyway, as most people have had i have numerous clunks and thunks that are suspension related and will be fixed as $$$$ becomes available. My other problem is this.... I get a weird vibration that ...
