Pics
Pics below, sorry about the car. Its been at my folks under a large tree so its a bit dirty and leafy. My mom's been driving it locally so at least it hasn't just been sitting. If you want any specific pics I will try to get them. Some things to notice are the windows and sunroof still open and clos...

[FS] 1993 Blaze Red GS; SE PA $1200 PICS
I'm selling my 1993 MX-3 GS. It's got the 1.8l K8 and the automatic transmission, with just under 140,000 miles. Its Blaze red and has the typical fading and clear coat peeling common with this color. The car runs good and drives good. And has lots of new parts(see below). The car passed PA dyno typ...

Use acetone. You can buy it at walmart next to the paint thinner. Pour it on a rag and rub. If you keep the rag pretty wet it will come right off. At first it will smear around but if you keep getting new rags (I used paper towels) it will eventually come right off with little or no effort. Keep the...

Re: valve cover gasket....
As said, the front is easy. I would also recommend getting new valve cover seal washers. The rubber seals in those are probably cracked and rotted too. They are about $3.50/each for the small ones and $5/each for the long ones. I got all my supplies at www.thepartsbin.com The easiest way to check th...

Draining ATX fluid....
My 93 has no fluid drain plug that I'm aware of. Is there an easier way to changed the fluid without dropping the pan? (I recently did this for a filter change). Can a drain plug be tapped into the pan somewhere? Is there something i am missing? Also I was under the car today looking around and noti...

Re: 92GS parts car (Canada)
Do you have the rear most belt tensioner assembly? I believe its the PS one. Actually all i need are the threaded bolt that does the tensioning, the part thats moves up and down to tension the pulley, and the 17mm nut piece that holds the pulley to the tensioner.

Re: K8 engine parts
I doubt this is the type of engine parts you mean but if you have the rear most belt tenioner assembly I could use it.

I am looking to buy the tensioner assembly that tightens the power steering(?) belt. Not sure if its the power steering one or not but i need the one to the rear of the car. I've got a 93 GS V6.I need everything on the assembly except the tensioner pulley itself.

Re: parting out 94 gs-silver 5spd
I'm looking for the belt tensioner assembly. The rear most one, I think its for the power steering, that you access from under the car. I would need the whole assemlby w/ the threaded nut that tensions the pulley and the bracket, the nut that clamps the pulley in place. Basically everything but the ...
