personally, i'd go ahead and go with all four 6.5's, subs are really meant for just bass. putting 6.5's in just the front will mean you have all your highs and mids up front and nothing but bass in the back. with all 4 you can balance the sound a little better, and you already have built in spots fo...

would it be safe to assume that the sohc version has the same ground points (or at least close and obvious)? i don't have a kit, but i got some high current/temp wire i need to dispose of and new ground wires sound like a good way to use it.

i talked to my installer buddy that runs a small stereo company. he sells ma-audio amongst other things (i have all ma-audio hard kore stuff). anyways, i asked him if i should rewind my alt for higher output if i go up to 1600w rms total. he said, yeah, it'd be a good idea but also said that at high...

is your system 2000w max or rms? the amperage draw should be the watts used / volts (2000w/12) which would mean you're pulling 167amps out of a 60amp altenator somehow if you are actually using 2000w. i use a GS (90amp) altenator in mine with just my 800w rms amp for now with no problems. though i d...

aftermarket hoods?

i've been thinking about getting an aftermarket hood, but i'm not sure what. is there anything available for our car besides OEM, Invader, and the pak dual vent one? i haven't noticed any others.

mm..i think the invaders look a bit better, but both are a little too aggressive for the simple kit i'm going for.

i personally think that black is overdone (note the number of people urging said color) though that's just me. personally, i plan to go with a blue that's just a couple shades darker than the stock laguna blue that my car is currently painted, though that candy blue is nice (but candy=$$$) ah well, ...

depending on what all styles are available, there's a chance i'd be interested. see if you can post some pics of the different types they'll make.

it seems they assume that anyone with any kind of body kit and/or visible engine enhancements is a ricer. in my opinion the mx-3 they show is borderline, the TT is very nicely done. hell, i don't plan to upgrade my engine but i want to add a kit to my car to make it look nice and unique, but i won't...

if you're gonna put wide rims on, at least do it in both back and front, nothing is stupider then putting wide tires where they are useless just to look like you have a rear wheel drive car (which i don't think are all that great anyways). i don't know for sure what will fit on our cars, but from ev...

from an artistic stand point (and i'm really trying not to be biased here) the mx-west logo has too much going on to the right with nothing on the left (comparatively) i guess the main reason i like the last one i posted is because it was fairly balanced (i'm picky so sue me). i really love the idea...
