When I did my swap I had a bad vibration. Turns out the shop I took it to put a shorter pass. side axle in. I tried everything and they finally figured it out. Did you do a swap or did this just occur?

Never heard of the KL28 ecu but the pins look right. The price is'nt that bad either, I think I paid $260 for mine(KL31).

VERY intresting.

The rattle is more than likely a friction gear spring. Although it could be the timing belt tensioner. Where is the sound coming from? If it consists throughout the rpms its not an hla as they do not rattle in the higher rpms.

ITR are way over rated! An EK civic with a GSR swap would be a better foe.

I have a 4-door GSR and they are pretty strong on the top end, but they are no match for the ZE.

Anyways don't be scared of an ITR if you have a ZE with the bolt ons, and with spray... forget it.

Sounds like the battery. You can run without a battery as long as the alt. is functioning properly. From what I gather it seems like it runs fine until you try to start it again. From reading your post again your batt. will hold a charge for a small amount of time. Save some money up and get a red t...

IIRC their should be a cast mark across the IM. What is the TB number?
I don't want to rain on anyones parade but I'm not sure its a true ZE.

Do a search for CURTKLZE he has a good write up on it.

I'm hope I'm wrong.

Any filter will fit. It just takes a little effort. Connect the filter to the piping before you work it around the AC line, it will make it a lot easier. I don't have any pics of mine but its just like Gros.

Swollen bearings, hmm.. thats funny. I would do the paper test on the #1 VIRS. Better yet check both of them. I ran the same set-up K8 ecu and KL02 VAF and this seems to run rich. Pull a couple of plugs to get an idea of how its running, rich or lean. What shape is the ignition system? Time for a tu...

Either a collasped HLA or a FGS. What bank is it coming from? Now that I think about it it is probably a FGS.

Take your Tb off and look where the IAC is and think about what goes into your motor. Vent the front valve cover to the atmosphere and run the other two lines to a catch can. Thats how I have mine.

Check your vacum lines, you could have pulled the one loose that goes to the egr. Pull the codes. Check everything that you messed with.

For the record, 200 posts does'nt mean nothing.

Why don't you just port match them and stick them on the ZE? Its not hard and since you already have them?
