Re: always get wrong ball joint
Could always try a wreckers yard, and if all else fails Mazda. But those parts stores should be able to order the right part, what are they saying when you bring it back?

Re: civic cop car
Honda knows that parents consider it a perfect first car for the kids, they don't wan't the street racer/death moniker hanging on them. It's just good PR for them to hook up on a program like that. they look concerned, are taking action, and keep selling a sh*t load of cars ...IMHO

Re: Gas tank overflow?
Well, I drove around a bit till the float started moving the needle when going uphill, around turns etc. and the leak stopped. I could hear a hissing sound when I got back while under the car checking for the leak (air being sucked in by the tank). Yeah the tank creates a bit of vacuum as it empties...

I see you're in oshawa, I was told around 600 for Eibach's installed at pro street automotive on wentworth (for a different car, but I'd imagine it would be the same for the mx)

Does anyone know, if the gas tank is overfilled will it leak? Yeah, i'm an idiot, but gas prices went down and I got a little overzealous and overfilled the tank. I went into the garage and smelled gas, looks like it leaked from the top of the tank and then dripped around the bottom, can't tell exac...
