what injectors are you going to use ?

I'd suggest a transition to MS but if you don't want to do that, well there's not too much options for ecus. I'd go wit the DE.
Are you using something to control timing ?

I had the problem.

2-crack retainer
both are on the intake side

happened while misshifting
one drop instantly
the other one broke while I took the head off !!

IIRC both happened on the front head (left one)

I've been squirting for over a year now. No tach signal in the cluster, but i don't think there is a way around that.

Did you ever get this tach problem fixed? Was it the incorrect wattage of 1K ohm resistor? You might need a 1 Watt, 1k ohm resistor. no I never worked it out, and didn't try it out too. could also be 2 bad bottom o-rings on the injectors, happened to me before
Inspect the injector o-rings carefully for cracks.

ok. so would this would change the a/f ratio right? what is the ideal a/f for the k8? you can change the a/f ratio without changing injectors. Like I said buy a fuel pressure regulator and play with it and you'll get different a/f numbers. You won't get precise reading without a wideband 02 sensor ...

you won't get "more power" out of injectors. You need injectors when you got other parts installed that "Requires" more fuel. Like I said, nothing you can add to the mx-3 except turbo or s/c (maybe a crazy N/A set-up that 99.9% of people here will never have) will require other i...

IMO different place gives different price for the same thing. It's like going to Walmart and Zellers. Same things different price. I know for a fact that 2 company around here that are not more than 50km apart sells their engine at a different price with the same parts.
