The tach gets its signal from the negitive coil terminal. For the DOHC the coil is part of the disty so it will get its signal from there.

ash: I could CNC that flange for you if you get some sort of design to me. Either AutoCAD or MasterCAM would be the best, or if your really good at taking mesurements just draw it up.

I can see where hes comming from but I dont think one is any better then the other. The larsen looks to flow better but when the runners merge they are practly firing into each other. Will the manifold be avalible with an external wastegate flange? That long pipe right above the turbo looks like a fine spot(if it dosent hit the radiator)for a wastegate. Its not a requirement but it would be nice to have.

I'm not worried about the work I'm having a hard time tracking down a GS to pull the brakes from But a EGT did turn up at the yard. I figure if I can get out the door with everything I need for under $100 then it was worth it.

Are the EGT rear wheel disk brakes swapable into a RS like the MX-3 gs brakes are? Or is it a completely diffrent set up?

I have no boost contoler. The wastegate is hooked directly to the intake tube. It as my impression that this should keep it at factory boost levels. I hit 10psi at about 5500. This wasn't sustained boost, I just floored it for a sec to see if the new BOV was working. I only had the pedal down for ab...

What is the factory wastegate set at on the BPT?

Free reving in my driveway(I know this is bad) I'm getting pressures of 10+ on the boost gauge. I was under the impression that the factory seting was arroud 7psi not 10-13.
