Re: Better "Go"?
If you really wanna try the ultimate test find a local airport and use 110 Octane. In Michigan some Sunoco stations even sell Racing fuel (100+ octane).
Be careful using AvGas (Aviation fuel) since some types are Low Lead (not unleaded, but not the old style regular, it's just a little lead). It i...

Re: Radiator for SOHC
Very cool, but where can I get a tricked out one? Chrome, etc? That one is good (and only $190
) but still stock.

Radiator for SOHC
Anyone know where I can get a hi-po radiator (preferably something cool looking (Chrome, etc)) for a 93RS?

Re: Custom Hoses
Thanks for the link
it's a start. Ok, that takes care of the radiator and heater hoses (btw, what are the sizes of the radiator and heater hoses on a 93RS?) now where can I get all the other ones? Where can I get them in solid (not corrugated) tubing?

Re: check this euro guy!
This is just personal opinion, your milage of course, may vary.
By the way, the rims are held on with one large bolt off the spindle, this is common in racecars (saves a lot of time changing tires).
The second antenna is not for a CB, the wavelength of the antenna would never match well to a CB,...

Custom Hoses
I'm looking to replace my Radiator hoses (and everything else I can) with either Chrome or Powder coated (Blue) hardline with small, blue rubber clamp-on connectors at the ends. Anyone know where I can get the hardline in prebent forms to fit? Where can I get blue rubber hoses in various sizes? I'd ...

Re: oh great....hand brake is dragging....please help!
I've got a 93RS with the exact same problem on the LEFT rear (Driver's side), I should check and see if there is a TSB for this.
The part he pressed on (I was watching while it was on the hoist) was the small light-colored U-shaped bit of metal. I don't know it's name but if you look at the backsi...

Re: 4cy SOHC Turbo?
Thanks Chris
I'd really rather keep the 4cy for as long as I can. I don't have the desire to add the extra weight of a 6 for a trivial improvement in HP when there's so much that can be done with a 4.

Re: Heater completely dead.
A circuit breaker possibly? Try flipping the switch back and forth a couple times. If that little trip switch is in fact a tripped breaker it will snap easily one way, and have resistance then snap the other way. Click it the easy way first (Off) then back (on) and give it a shot. If it trips again ...

Is it possible to turbocharge a 4cy SOHC? How? What is required? Cost? Reccomended parts, upgrades?

Doing some big work, looking for Hi-Po parts.
I am the luckiest Geek to walk the Earth. :)
I just bought a beautiful 93 4cyl, SOHC a few days ago. I love the car, but as is expected with a 10 year old car, there are a few things to fix. Here's what was wrong with it when I bought it on the 10th.
Hatch struts worn out (I replaced them yeate...
