Re: Thumbs up for these tires
This thread was not supposed to be about 1 tire VS another. It was and is Dunlop FM901 highly recommend because I have them and they perform well for street. So future buyers can look into them if they choose.

Thumbs up for these tires
I just replaced my Falkens with Dunlop SP Sport FM901's and what a difference. Aggressive tread pattern (kinda looks like flames) and a soft compound that grabs the pavement like they had claws. Large bead for rim protection. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Highly reccommend. Only downer is t...

Re: Cross drilled or sloted rotors??
I have cross-drilled rotors which help with cooling and when it's wet it allows the water and dirt to be squeezed out. Slotted rotors do the same thing. I did learn recently that drilled rotors are prone to cracking after awhile but slotted rotors aren't. They look cool and all but in the future I t...

Re: Whats better drilled or slotted rotors
fine and dandy.....but my rotors haven't cracked.....yet. I didn't buy them for looks...I'm saying they look cool. I bought them cuz they were $50 ea CDN and I needed rotors. And they just happen to look cool. Have you seen the slotted rotors that go all the way through? Whats that about?

Re: Hatch Shade g/b
The OEM hatch shade is pretty much the most "practical" design for our cars because of the curved glass. And from the earlier replies to this thread, it's agreed that the OEM style is the most acceptable. Anything else would either be overkill or just suck alltogether.

Re: Whats better drilled or slotted rotors
that's probably the best answer. It's a prefference thing I guess. My rotors are full of holes. How they got there (drilled or otherwise) I dunno.....but I love them especially in wet conditions....but mostly for looks I think.
