Re: banner decal idea

my 2 cents.....the 3 looks a bit like an S so you may (or may not) wanna shorten the swoop at the top of it. Other than that I can dig it.

Re: tail lights

click on my link below and see what I did with mine if you like. Jeff Abrams did something pretty cool with his. I'm not sure exactly what he did but it looks like took altezzas and tinted the clear lense. Looks pretty sharp. I bought altezzas and painted them black.

Re: Cleaning Engine Bay

I used to be an auto detailer and here's how we did engine bays. Any degreaser will be okay but I used stuff called Prime Lime. It was awsome. Disolves gum and grease yet was safe enough to drink. (don't drink it) Make sure your ignition wires are snug and water can't get to the plugs . Just sparay ...

Re: racing seat bracket?

the way I did mine was to use the stock rails and make an adaptor using 2 strips of steel to bridge the gap between the 2 rails. The rails are not level with each other so one sits lower than the other. I had to make spacers to raise the 1 side up so they were level. Making cardboard templates helps...

Re: Do these mods work?

this is a new reply to an OLD thread but i didn't see any replies so...... the banjo is the piece that bolts from the fuel line into the fuel rail. It looks like a banjo hence it's name. If you remove the bolt that holds it (depressurize fuel lines 1st) you will see 1 big hole at the tip of the bolt...

Re: Prob with coolant bypass mod need advisement

I have to agree with Jeff on this one. I did it yetserday and I can't wait to put it back. My idle is horrible....and quite often bogs down instanly to a dead stall. I started running way rich too....probably because I didn't leave any coolant in the TB and the ECU thinks it's cold all the time so i...

Re: what does this do?

it works....but it's not gonna snap you into your seat or anything. it will be most noticable at take off, after that it's pretty much the same just the throttle is a bit more responsive when you give it. You'll burn a bit more gas, so as it says....it's best to use it when you feel the need for a w...

thermo spacer install now bad idle

I just installed my IM thermo spacers today and now my idle is wacked. start up is fine until it warms up. Then it revs at like 1 rpm just barely clinging to life. Still it is drivable and incident free but is a tad weak. As soon as I reach a red light it dies (embarrassing having to restart as ligh...
