Re: Am I Getting Ripped Off.
Unorthodox Racings FAQ section mentions that most late modle cars no longer use harmonic balancers. But don't quote me on that.....I'd look there and see.

Re: Flame thrower kit...
the basic idea is to tap into your tailpipe and install a sparkplug and wire it with some heavy guage wire to a toggle switch inside the ****pit. Hammer the throttle down a couple times and flip the switch to activate the spark plug. The plug will ignite the exhaust gas producing a blue flame. I hav...

Re: what do you think of these seats?
IMHO a seat is a seat. I paid $750 for my seats which is pretty cheap, and they look and feel no different than any other seat I've sat in. The only thing with cheaper seats is the fabric may not last as long as a more expensive seat. Might fade or suffer wear and tear a bit sooner. But I have sport...

Re: painting door inserts
If you use a rag or cotton balls with acetone the fabric will peel off with little resistance. Moisten the fabric with the acitone (it will break down the glue)and gradually start peeling.....if it resists to much dab on a little more acetone.

Re: painting door inserts
if you remove the fabric carefully, yes the surface undernieth is paintable. It is porous though. That's all I did. I removed the fabric and painted. Worked better than I thought it would. I plan on redoing it with resin eventually but if yer on a budget and short on time than this method is the fas...

Strac's a good friend of mine.....the diamond plate he bought and cut to shape himself. Pretty clever and sharp looking.

Re: ???taillights???
you could also set the oven to 200C and warm them up for a few minutes at a time and pry them apart. You have to be carefull using this method however.

Re: Amp / Sub Recommendations
I stand by my previous statements. My sub is a 500W 10", and every time it thumps it's like being kicked in the ribs. I wouldn't enter any db comps (but I could care less about that anyway) but my setup is ideal..........for me. Big sound in a small space. I do however fully agree that the MX3 ...

try to find a dealer in your area. Some manufacturers don't sell direct, you have to locate a dealer and buy through them. Just a suggestion.

At the e-ram website you can see a demo where they turn it on and the man holding it lets go and it shoots up into the air. Sounds like a hair dryer.
