there is a tap / knocking coming from my engine it's on the left side somewhere but hard to locate. It wasn't doing this before and all of a sudden it's started. I dunno it's quite a large tapping sound... which gets worse with revs. As I've just bought the car i know sod all about em. Its sounds to be coming from around / under the air intake pipe, and Intake manifold.
Does it sound as if it's gonna be expensive???

Oh man mine has just started tapping and sounds as if it's coming from around the timing belt. Is the spring hard to fix???

I bought a v6 today :) ... cool car >>> only trouble is it's now started tapping. We checked everything possible on the engine when i bought it so i may have broke it.
