maintaining MX-3s
I'm no mechanic. The most I can do to my car is probably give it an oil change. Where do you guys in Toronto Canada take your MX-3s to get it maintained or minor repairs done(sparkplugs, braks, belts etc.) if you don't do it yourself. What place do you recommend? I don't want to resort to a Mazda De...

Re: one sick *** MX3...
Nice. Sure beats my car. Like Andrew said, I'd lower it. I personlay think when a car gets nice rims and low profile tires and doesn't get lowered ruins the whole image. Only because the lower profile tires leaves a big gap from the top edge of the tire to the wheel frame of the car.

Eagle Talon spoiler
Some of you might puke on this one...
Has anybody seen that big *** moon shaped spoiler on the Eagle Talon (aka. Mitsubishi Eclipse)? Will it fit on an MX-3? I kinda like it.

Re: Buying wood dashboard...
If you're talking about wood trimming, I think it would look nice in a car but not an MX-3.
The only wood or wood look alike items that go permanently in an MX-3 are sub-woofer boxes. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: What Would You Recommend??
I have a ported box because I like the loud boomy bass. Sounds like you would want a sealed box. ![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

polishing headlights
I've checked out Barry Clark's web page for polishing the headlights. I've looked everywhere for that 'Blue Magic Plastic Polish' . I live in Canada and I don't think they sell it here. What do the guys in T.O use to polish their headlights. Mine are practically yellow now.
Thanks

Re: sony xplod speakers
Your player is 180 watts which is 45X4. If your speakers are 160 watts each, you're only pumping 45 watts into them as a result, they would sound on the ****ty side. The stock speakers are only about 25 watts therefore all the wattage is being used. If you don't have one already, get you're hands on...

Is there something wrong?
Some guy in an old Nissan Maxima(a 90 I believe) with 4 people in it cut me off on the highway while driving on the shoulder. I wanted to cut him off back. As soon as the car in front of him moved out of the way, he took off like a bat outta hell. I had my pedal on the floor , the RPMs revved up to ...

exauhst question
I've been hearing a lot of exhausts, mostly on civics(blah) and they all have the same if not similar deep growl sound. Just to stick out from the rest, is there an exhaust(or anything) out there that would make an MX-3 scream? Not growl, scream, kinda like a formula 1 car.

tranny swap worth it?
This is my first time posting something on the board so forgive me if I sound repetitive. I have a 94 gs auto (blah) and I want to switch to a 5spd. Is it worth to swap the tranny(how much would it cost in Toronto, Can.) or should I just get another gs but in a 5 spd? Keep in mind that my A/C is out...
