Re: times for a bpt swap
with that motor you should be getting in the 9's easy. My buddies Civic SiR with I/H/E goes 9.90's all the time. You should be able to do better, so just keep practicing your launch and fix that boost leak.

There used to be one around here that looked just like that except it was that ugly beige/sand color and had chrome fender flares. Truely a waste of money.

Re: intercooler with out a turbo or a super....
Hmm..... This is complete BS. Starion intercooler huh? I got one on my Starion, but it at least has a turbo. I dont see how this could possibly add any hp at all. If he's using an air-to-air intercooler like the Starion's, then its not possible for him to cool down the air more than the outside ambi...

Re: A bit of advice on the boards but mainly a custom turbo.
You guys wanna hear something more about compression? My car (88 Mitsu Starion Turbo) has a factory 7:1 comp ratio. Now that is LOW. Granted I run around daily with 15-18psi on 91oct fuel without even the slightest hint of detonation and I am still running quite rich. Because of the low compression ...

Re: intercooler sizes???
yes the Starion/Conquest intercooler is great, I should know as I have one on my Starion! If you do decide to get one you may want to know that the IC's off the 88-89 StarQuests and more efficient than previous years.

Re: supercharged b6
There are pros and cons of water injection though. You have to refill the water bottle often and if you forget to you could run without it and hurt your engine if it needs it that badly. But it is good. The water effectivley "steam cleans" the combustion chamber and if you use an alcohal m...

Re: Automatic Vs 5 speed manual....
No David and I are saying that its better to go with an auto with a turbo system. An S/C system has boost all the time since its run directly off the engine via a belt unlike the turbo. You give the motor gas and the S/C is making boost right away. Get the picture?
