Re: Diagnostic Error Codes???

I just read what I typed and figured out an even better way to relay what I'm looking for.
Suppose I let my brother whack my car around with a hammer so bad that my car has every single problem known to man. All the sensors are now thouroughly smashed. :)
In diag-mode, would my CEL (assuming tha...

Re: Diagnostic Error Codes???

Maybe it'll be easier to understand if I explain my situation better.
Currently my CEL is not indicating a problem, but it has in the past. I just checked it last night and it's blinking code '02'. So, this means that even though the problem isn't currently happening, the ECU remembers it from whe...

Re: What lip is this ?

It looks nice! It's the best aftermarket lip I've seen. But what's all that crap under the license plate, or is that just a glare?

Re: How to take off my head light cover?

In other words, you have to open the hood and do it from the inside. Once you look there, it will be pretty much self explanatory.

Re: Glass Headlights

I'm definitely interested in glass headlights!
As I see it though, there are two problems with the potential of success for this group buy.
First of all, there's the shipping cost, although it's not necessarily prohibitive.
Second of all, it sounds to me that your (Sparky75's) source was junk...

Although it depends heavily on color, and somewhat on price, I'm most likely in!
fisaza@directvinternet.com

Re: Diagnostic Error Codes???

Ok, so the FAQ answered a lot of questions. I being more used to Hondas (sorry), was used to an LED on the ECU for error codes. Now that I learned how to read the error codes on my 93 GS, you just know I couldn't wait to go out in the driveway and check it out. Based on that I have a few questions:<...

Re: Diagnostic Error Codes???

Oh cool! I actually had looked over the V6 FAQ previously, but I didn't realize that you had to change it to "Show all Topics" to see all the FAQ's. Looks like I have more reading to do! Thanks again

Re: V6 vs. V4 reliability..

The Service Dept. manager (for 15 years) at my local Mazda dealer has told me that 1.8L V6 is far superior in general reliability to the I-4's. He called the 4-cylinder engines "anemic" and said that they get worked a lot harder, thus resulting in faster wear and tear.
When I mentioned t...

Re: Diagnostic Error Codes???

Don't you need a reader to read the codes on an MX3? That's what I've been told, although I haven't bothered to look.
fisaza@directvinternet.com

Re: Engine bogging down, please help.

I had similar problems 2 years back and when I went to check the plugs one of the spark plug wires came out dripping oil....
Luckily, I was still under extended warranty and they replaced my gasket. After that it ran like a champ.
If it's not an oil leak, I would look into changing your spark pl...

Re: And they said it couldn't be done.

I know this is an old thread, but ANY tips, resources, etc. on replacing the headliner in the '93 GS would be greatly appreciated!
I don't really want to use cloth fabric if I can help it. I was thinking of some sort of thin vinyl. My '91 CRX has the type of headliner I wish all cars came with. It...

Oh yeah, I just realized something...
The sunroof is the place where MOST of the cigarette burns are. That piece would be easy to ship!
GROOVEMX: You said your interior was brown, do you happen to have a sunroof? While your at it, do you happen to have a center console/arm rest for sale?
Than...
