start with high to get the rough stuff off and progressively go finer as it starts to shine - get yourself a power sander!

Re: K8 and KL03 disty the same??? Need help!
When I put my ZE in to replace the old K8, I used the K8 distributor and 17,000kms later, all is good!
So I agree 100% that they are interchangeable

Re: Poor Fuel Consumption
I get a regular 32mpg (UK) from my KLZE on a 40 mile city commute every day - 56 sets of traffic signals and no speed faster than 80 km/hr. My old K8 got around 33mpg - I can't imagine how fast you guys would have to drive to get 23 mpg!!!!!!

Re: Preformance Axles
The Canadian Tire lifetime warranty only works if you pay them to put the axles in - but I wouldn't let any Canadian Tire "mechanics" I know touch my car!

you might know the road, Taras - it's coming down from Mount Seymour - a lot of fun as long as it's quiet and plenty of room!

Re: Breakaway Oversteer
As long as there is nothing wrong with the car then You're right you have to be pretty brutal with the steering / gas to make it happen and be going quite fast - but when the rear starts sliding it happens quite slowly and gives plenty of warning. I was just worried that there was something wrong, t...

Breakaway Oversteer
It's happened 4 times now - when pressing on in a sweeping right hand bend - the back end has broken away - usually when the camber is reverse & I lift off the gas a fraction and I've been lucky enough to catch it before running out of road - the question is I thought our cars were supposed to b...

KLZE code 41
I run a KLZE with a K8 ecu and when I'm on the highway cruising at a steady 80 km/hr or around 3200 rpm in 5th, the engine check light comes on after about 10 minutes or so. I've checked the code and it is 41 = VRIS 1 - I've also checked the VRIS and it seems ok - it opens and closes ok at around 30...
