Re: can you use k8 EGR system for KLZE with no EGR
it all seem pretty much interchangeable - I run a KLZE with the K8 EGR tubes & exhaust manifolds - no problem with emissions testing or with any fault codes.

Stupid End Links
Anybody got any tips for getting the end links off - I got the nut off only so far before the joint starting turning. I tried putting a hex key in the end to hold it but it rounded off. I am going to have to resort to cutting the link off?

when I did mine the gas consumption with the K8 ecu was only about 10% worse than normal - I was luckier than the others I suppose.

Re: is this a real klze?
I got my KLZE from Foreign Engines in Lynnwood WA, it's been in for a year and done over 25,000km - no problems no oil usage - all it's done is to wear out the synchros on my transmission due to the extra power! I made sure I saw all the codes first - just follow curtklze's advice - it works - take ...

I run the KLZE TB, K8 ECU & KLDE VAF - I got fastpass on Aircare, plenty of power and mileage is around 32 mpg. Works for me!

Re: YeeHaa, My ZE won't start, sort of
I know you said you had fuel but I thought I did for 2 days & it turned out the fuel lines were reversed - it's worth 5 minutes to do that. The slot in the ditributor cam only goes on one way - anyway the distributor position doesn't make any difference as the timing is pretty much automatically...

Re: Power Steering Problem
It worth checking the idler/tensioner near the p/s pump as I was all set to change mine after similiar symptoms to yours and I span the bearing & it was all loose and grinding - took less than 15 minutes to pop a spare one I had on!
