Re: Ractive Heat Shield Air Filter Installation
Hey, just to answer a few things. That little hose that goes into the stock air box is for emission's purposes. It really doesn't need to be filtered in real life... but you should try and hook it up to some point of vacuum. Otherwise w/out vacuum, it can't do anything. Also, the reason Mazda wouldn...

Re: A few questions...
i've read MB, and I don't quite get how the TB is 2.5 inches and the outlet of most turbo's is only 2.. wouldn't that mean there's a pressure drop? And... how stuff works doesn't tell me where the BOV plugs into on an MX-3's throttle body. But thanx... anyhow.. any one else?

A few questions...
Ok, so here's a few things... Where does the BOV plug into? Where's the place for the hose coming out of the BOV to plug into? Does that go after the throttle plate or sumthing? Second, if the intercooler has larger inlet and outlet piping then the turbo outlet, does that matter much? I'm sure there...

POLE: how many have you have ACTUALLY turbo charged...
Hey guys, how many of you ACTUALLY have turbo charged either the DOHC or SOHC. If you have, please list everything you've done that isn't stock, and how much you think you've spent on it. I'm hopefully soon to be boosted (this summer at least) I just wanan hear what mods, who's done it, how reliable...

Re: Offcenter hood scoop to intercooler L@@K
ehhh... no thanx
I don't like that HUGE ONE!!! EWE in my opinion. But... i thought about mounting it in the center, there's just no room! There's only like 1 inch of clearence there
So, that's not really an option. I like the vent ideas though. Peace out guys.

Re: Offcenter hood scoop to intercooler L@@K
Has anyone else heard of eclipse IC being just absolute junk? I'd seem like why would mitsubishi put them on if they did no good! You'd think they'd get rid of some of the extra heat, and there might be pressure drop, but I think i'd do more good then w/out it. Anyone else have an opinion on them? B...

recirculating BOV
Hey guys, When I do my project, I plan to recirculate the BOV back in the intake side of the compressor (so it doesn't run rich and all that good stuff) Now, do I put the inbetween the MAFS and the filter, or do i put it inbetween the MAFS and the turbo? Cuase, I'm trying to decide if the air would ...

Re: New Intake causes car to die...
Ok guys, no offense, but it's mainly common sense. If the company had hoses hooked up to ur stock intake tube they're there for a reason. The thing underneath the throttle body is the AICV, or air Idle control valve. It lets the car idle smoothly. It needs to know what kind of vacuum is being produc...

Re: My new possible turbo set up! L@@K pics!!!
Hey guys... thanx for all feed back. Umm bout the prices... At dsmtrader.com they ahve good deals on used intercoolers and cheap turbos. So that's why those might seem cheap. As for the piping, my midas here in town does that crap pretty cheap. I met a guy there, and he guess that each bend in a pip...
