Bose makes alright factory systems but they are nothing to get worked up about...except if you have to replace a speaker. A guy I know blew a stock speaker in his 05 Altima and was quoted 400 for just one speaker.....give me a break.

I would buy the higher end MA Audio and Visonik amps but I would not even consider their speakers or subs. The subs will be alright for an SPL competition but won't be able to take the punishment like the higher end brands. But I guess if you pay a third of the price or less for a sub you can now af...

First of all get rid of those god aful loop isolators. They are nothing more than a bandaide and are only for people who are too lazy to properly set up a system. Check your wires and double check them. HU and amp grounds. Check the connections on your speakers and check the gains on your amps. If p...

If you want to go down lower you will probably have to remove the strut hat to allow the perch more movement.

Re: Before and after - Lets see your rides.

The rims on the mx-3 were 16x7 progressive pro-15's (polished) very difficult rim to find...I had the only set in Atlantic Canada till I sold them that I know of...progressive is popular in the offroad community but not in the sport compact community.
If anyone is interested the Altima is sporting...

Re: check out this RX7

Aerodynamicly i don't think the car is capable of anything close to that speed. Stock the car can reach a top speed of 155.3mph. I bet this setup wouldn't even break the 200mph barrier.

Re: burn out

Pop the hatch and get 3 of your closest/heaviest friends to sit in it. put on the e-brake...rev up to 5k or so then dump it and hold it at 5-6 till the tires catch on fire.
[ July 14, 2003: Message edited by: Aaron MacDougall ]

Re: Why do you modify your mx-3?

The reason why most people will modify a sport compact is to turn the "ordinary" into the "extraordinary".
I modified my mx-3 because back then I actually thought it was kinda quick then I found out the difference j/k. It was fun while it lasted but the damn cute little thing j...
