power stays on... it is just the sound that stops.... I have never thought of the speaker wire being shorted... thank you for your post... I will be trouble shooting the wires tomorrow...

so... Let me get this straight... as long as i use the GTR Flywheel with the GTR Clutch it will work with the Protege LX FWD transmission?

So I will be swaping a BPT GTR into my 94 DOHC MX3, I have a transmission question... I will be getting a G series tranny from a 91 protege lx as the many posts on this site state would be the best way to go... I was wondering... can i use the GTR stock flywheel (AWD) with the protege tranny (FWD)? ...

what i took on what i read is that the stock trans is not recommended with the BP-T and that a g-series should be used... The 90-94 protege lx/gt fits the BP-T and is recomemded... if i read this wrong please let me know... another question though... will i need new mounts as stated for the 92 4cyl?...

so naturally the follow up question would be Can I use the AWD tranny and keep the car FWD? or do i need to go all the way with it and get a rear differential and make the car AWD?

I have a 94 DOHC 1.6 i want to get the BP-T... i have read the FAQ and all other sites regarding the swap but i didn't see any info on whether i can use my stock tranny with the BP-T... The engine comes with an AWD trany but would rather keep the same one i have now... it would cut down the cost sig...

I like the way the black garnish accents the paint color... no too sure if i'm going to put a spoiler on it yet either... something to think about... As for the holes in the front i have a set of 90-91 integera clear turn signals... they fit perfectly... with a little work... then have mesh fill in ...

Ok, so the cloud is white, not blue and it has a sweet smell to it.
as for smoking when i take of from a red light, i'm not sure it does, i shall double check. As soon as the car is at running temperature though it appears to be running normal.
