i know that. But do the parts needed for a atx to mtx swap from a GS work for doing the swap for a probe?

Replacing the hatch glass with lexan is all well and good but rather expensive for my budget. I know it would hurt the airodinamics, but has anyone ever ran their car at the track without the hatch on? Everyone I've mentioned this to has said they wont let you run like that, but why not. I know the trannies from mx3 gs's and probe gt's are interchangeable. But are the casings the same? Can I take all the gears from my gs tranny and put in a probe tranny? The casing is busted on mine. come to think of it a wrecked one would work just aswell as long as its not that bad. i don't need any body panels.

Any of you guys that have stripped your mx-3's want to sell the shell. It must be in good condition, not wrecked. I have heard of people on here parting out after a blown motor because the parts are so valuable.
