2.5 fuel system on a 1.8
Ok, so the heads can't be swaped but what about the fuel rails, fuel pressure regulator, or the fuel pump? Can they be swaped for 2.5 parts? Are they the same parts as whats on a 1.8? Would there be any gain to having more fuel at the valves if you could get more air to the valves by using a 2.5 thr...

Re: egr disable
leave the damn thing in there, all you have to do is unbolt the egr valve put a block off plate behind it and bolt it back up. you can use a piece of paper gasket material or a piece of cereal box works. take the old gasket out and use it for a patern, just don't make the hole in the middle of it. y...

Re: MGK Universal Oxygen Sensors
i don't know too much about it, but the reason there is for wires is because there is a built in heating unit to make them work on a cold engine when you first start, the car will run with no o2 sensor connected as long as you have something screwed into your manifold, it hurts gas mileage and its o...

I have heard of people swaping k8 cams for kl-ze cams for some kind of performance gain, I never did get a good idea of how much, but what would be the effect of using k3 cams in a k8?

Re: Coolant Resevoir
check your oil, if its milky, its coolant in there, thats a head gasket. its not that hard to change them your self, i changed them on a simular toyota motor a while back, cams half to come out to get the heads off, so the intake has to come off to get the rear valve cover off, time consuming, but f...

Re: ok i installed a cone filter
Its very easy to do. A half hour at most.<BR>To Zevirii; you should try running your filter down beneath where the factory airbox was. There is a lot of nice cold air flowing under the car. Just a thought
