Re: My Sherbert Orange MX-3 Pics!
Nice job. I'm personally not a fan of the combat style front ends.. I like something more rounded and less angular.. but it really suits the overall way you've done the ride. and the color? man that paint is just totally sick!
Nice work.

Re: Best Oil for the V6
I've seen a few folks recommend that if you are changing oil types (e.g. from normal oil to synth) that it's a good idea to do a 'flush' of the oil to make sure to get any deposits out. (I guess concern is that they might break loose and clog something.. I think I saw that on Luc's site. but memory ...

Re: KL - DE
Yeah, go by compression. If getting stuff from a wrecking yard, see if you can make sure to get the entire intake.. including throttle body, and airflow sensor, and also the ECU, then you can use that whole 'system' otherwise you might end up using those parts off your existing engine, and the intak...

Cool.. Yeah I'm always nervous buying used stuff off ebay.. My Engine was $220... fortunately it's running great.. Sorry to hear you feel that way about Cork Sport. I've had relatively good results dealing with them so far. You vote with your wallet in this case. One thing to keep in mind however is...

Re: making custom trunk cover
oh yeah my trunk cover is bent.. falls in all the time.
I'd SO replace it with a CF unit if someone made one and the price was right. even if I had to do a little work and like boltup the pegs off my one one to it, etc..

Re: KL - DE
There are several swap pages.. you can find links to a bunch of them from the main 'engine swap' page here at mx-3.com Once you get the existing motor out, compare all the mounting brackets. Depending on where your KL came from, you might need to swap a few over. (as an example, mine game from a Pro...

Re: what do you guys think
You're not likely to spin the tires at a stop sign with a turbo... little boost at idle.. intake and exhaust could be done now, you'd get some minor gains, but both set you up nicely for a turbo.. I wouldn't mess with headers since they'd just get replaced if you do go turbo. But you could do exhaus...
