Re: MX-West Division in Calgary
I've posted this in two different threads so far. Either nobodys read them or nobody cares, either way, there's a drag racing event up at red deer on that same day. Depending on whether or not anybody plans to go, you might wanna consider changing the date to sunday so everyone who wants to be there...

Re: How to locate an energy drain?
It's been awhile since I took Physics and my mind is mush right now (summer time!), but anyway, how can you be sure you have something draining to begin with? Like I said in another thread, the battery just died in my moms van, could be the same thing. <P>So my question/advice would be to hook up an...

Re: fresh post for CALGARY Meet II
See the drag racing forum, maybe we could work out a time/place to meet there? Just a suggestion.

Re: Strange Battery Problem Again!
Replace the battery I guess. Same thing happened to our van. I came home from work and left it in the garage, nothing was on, and in the morning there wasn't enough voltage to start (it wasn't completely dead though). Anyway, we took it to the delarship, they did a full electrical system diagnostic ...
Battery
I haven't got a clue where to post this so I figured off-topic. Anyway, I went to start up my moms van (98 Caravan) and I get all sorts of wierd electrical problems, and no start. So we figure it's the battery, hook up a voltmeter and find it's 2.2V lower then it should be. Later we boosted it, got ...

Re: When to Replace the Timing Belt
I've been told they need to be changed every 80-90k km. Sometimes if you hear a ticking sound down by where the belt is, it could also be a sign to get it checked out.

I thought I was the only one. I'm 17, and I'm going to be paying for an mx-3, insurance and tuition in the next month or two. Plus whatever I spend on mods. And I work in a damn bakery.

Re: Gunmetal rims on Black Mx-3
I think gun metal wheels look real nice up close when your just looking at the wheel itself, but when they're on a car, the color of them really works against every other color you'll see on a car. It's like having 4 black holes in the side of a car, I don't like them myself.

Re: Body questions
He took the car to his mechanic who agreed that it was probably the timing belt, and is having it changed. Carfax came up clean on the vehicle, it hasnt been written off or spent any time in a junkyard, it's used mainly to get to work and back every day. He has all the records showing the car has be...
