The 1.6 SOHC has the F25MR<BR> 1.6 DOHC has the same, but different gearing. Same tranny from the 1.8 SOHC BP.<BR>The Protege LX 1.8 DOHC has the G5MR which is stronger and has bigger diameter flywheel.<BR> [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Got the tranny! Cleaned, cause it was ready to go, but mx3er dissed me on the buy.

all in good condition. used mobil1 on engine since day 1. orig. owner. took out of car for bpt swap. had 105K on it. tranny recently cleaned. located in chicago area.<BR>still got 26-30mpg on that engine.

My MX-3 had the 1.6 SOHC from 1992. I was only owner. I just put the 1.8BPT in, that reason I took it out.

When I took it out, it had 105K on it. I kept it very clean. Oil was always synthetic from 500miles and on.<BR>I live around Chicago,IL

I'm selling all the above cheap. I took really good care of this engine and it still did get 30mpg of more on highway driving.
