Re: FX Designs Kit

I didn't have any problems with mine either, like DVH said, other than the normal amount of work to put on the side skirts. I bottomed out a couple of times and only got a few scratches under the bumpers. I like the kit overall. :D

Re: Looking for a red rear bumper cover

I may sell mine. It is red and is in good shape and I also live in Nova Scotia. Where do you live and how much would you give me for it? If the offer is good enough, then it is yours and you won't have to pay shipping because maybe we could meet somewhere. Let me know.<p>Jeff

Re: Tweeters under deck?

You are right, they say that they should be close to the drivers but, in the competitions I was in, the judges were all impressed with the sound of my set-up and how the staging was so good, at eye level and very wide. One judge said that the sound stage sounded like it was way past the doors. I am ...

Re: Tweeters under deck?

It won't sound good, get a hole saw for drills and drill a hole the size of your tweeter in the door panel and put the tweets there like in the pic. Then aim the tweets toward the rearview mirror, trust me it will sound great.

Re: Qustions about the headlight

I had my blue lights in for over a year now and no problems with the police at all, as long as they are D.O.T. approved.

Re: Can a stock rs 1992 alternator hanmdle 2 batteries??

Another option is a battery isolator which is cheaper than getting the alt rebuilt. All cars or trucks (mainly trucks) that come stock with 2 batteries are designed with isolators. You can get these from any car audio shop.

Re: rear defroster , and i have searched for an answer

The relay is under the dash on the driver's side almost directly in front of the fuse box. I think that there are 3 or 4 relays in a row, not attached to each other and to remove it all you have to do is pull down hard. The relay is, I think, the 2nd back from the firewall just listen for the clicki...

Re: rear defroster , and i have searched for an answer

Hey people, I had the same problem. The light was out and I could hear the relay clicking and yesturday, just for curiousity, I took out the relay which I located by following the clicking sound and unpluged it. Guess what, it was burnt out and the plug was even burnt. So I would check the relay eve...

Re: Pics of my competion system

Thanks for the comments. It is a SQ set up and it was metered at one of the shows and it hit 141.9db which isn't bad for a low powered SQ car I think. Keep the comments comming. :D

Re: body kit help

For the full kit and shipping to Nova Scotia, it cost me about $1800 CND. Took a while though but it was worth the wait.
