Doesn't the Check Engine Light come on once the engine is too hot???Originally posted by Franko:
There should be a warning light or something that would let you know if your temp is too high.

Not my taste at all, but I can easily see how it would appeal to others.
It is interesting and unique.

Re: Creation of clear lens - GTS clear cover transplant
Yeah, no problems with my clear lense set-up either. I did have a "foggy" problem at first, but I solved it with a drill bit and a hole! As long as there are those holes in the back (usually have that rubber hose on them in the shape of a "U") then the condensation will not be a ...

Re: my latest project *PICS*
Well, legit business or not, there's a fair bit of interest from people here it seems - including myself - for some CF pieces made. I know I wouldn't mind paying 5% more or something like that to pay for a "fee" for this website. I don't know if making a CF hood with smaller sheets reduces...

Re: Creation of clear lens - GTS clear cover transplant
How think are those GTS clear covers you people are using?
Just wondering out of curiousity.
Most OEM lenses are made with 3.2mm (1/8") think material.
I made my own clear lenses a few months ago out of some raw 3.2mm perpex, and I'd just like to compare these to the GTS covers.

Re: Thermostats
Thanks for the opinions.
The thermostats are the same 52mm diametre, so I'm going to go ahead and use the new one with the old (but still very good) gasket that has the notch.
Thanks.

Thermostats
I just got a new thermostat, but it looks different than the faulty one I pulled out.
For one, the gasket does not have the "notch" at the top, and the thermostat does not have those two "jiggle pins" in it either.
Was I given the wrong thermostat, or just a different brand?

Re: Custom Projector light (01-03 Civic Aftermkt) pics
What I'm sure would help a lot of people figure this out would be a picture of one headlight from a bird's eye view (close-up of course). It would show how the brackets are mounted and how they fit in the car as well. Any plans on swapping the low beam projector our for a quality OEM projector???

Re: ALERT ALERT ALERT RECALL RECALL
My front driver's side spring coil broke in two places due to road-salt, rusting out, etc.
I got BOTH front springs replaced with BRAND NEW ones for free under the recall.
They never did add any funny metal piece to deflect salt.

Replacing Rear Wheel Hub/Bearing Assemblies
I'm going to be replacing both rear hub/bearing aassemblies soon.
I know that they are each a sealed unit and come with the bearings installed already, but what I would like to know is if I have to add grease to these or not?
I'm guessing yes, but this whole sealed hub thing is confusing me.
