As soon as I can get my head gaskets and crap on the motor, I'll be down there.

Re: Resetting Temperature Gauge

Thanks Taras, that's good to know. Malahat is not to bad from what I've heard, just slow when shipping parts. I think I'll try what you suggested to someone else in another post, un-screw the gauges and maneuver them into position first. Then I wont have to fiddle with the neddle itself at all.

Re: Clear Euro Third Brake Light

Like the two posts mentioned above, it's the easy way and probably how I'd do it at first too. But, it's still illegal. Red filament bulbs are not approved light bulbs to replace the ones there. There aren't any in existence that are legal. They're just normal bulbs with a red translucent paint coat...

Seems to resemble a first gen Tiburon to me.

It'll be interesting to see if your ambitions become reality.

Re: Resetting Temperature Gauge

Maybe.

I suppose I'll just have to get another gauge and see if that fixes it.

Resetting Temperature Gauge

Just as the topic states, does anyone know how to reset the temperature gauge? After I installed indiglo gauge faces my temperature gauge just goes all the way to the top right away. I probably turned the needle too far or something when trying to stuff it in the hole. I tried just turning it back a...

Re: how to get power supply to indiglo gauges

I know it wasn't completely correct information, but it was close enough to figure out how to wire it right. The main point I was trying to make was that you CAN plug into the dimmer switch power, since there have been people claiming you will destroy your gauges if you do. <small>[ October 25, 2004...

Re: how to get power supply to indiglo gauges

Tie all three positive wires coming from the E.L. gauges into one wire. Then, wire that into the constant power to the dimmer switch (black and red wire - NOT just the red). Tie all three ground wires into one, and then wire them onto a ring terminal connector. Once you have that done, just attatch ...

Re: Head Gasket Help

Anything for MX-3s cost a lot of money the majority of the time. It's just part of owning this wonderful Mazda. I just paid $250 (CDN) for a V-6 head set, and that's a smoking deal too. You can re-use the head bolts as long as they have not stretched past their acceptable specs. Good luck wi...

Re: Skyline

My best guess on why he got a 1989 is because that is the newest car you can import into Canada right now.

A car has to be 15 years old before you can even consider bringing it into Canada.
