I like your nick, man! You've got to have norwegian roots! :D Anyway, turned out that it's not the regular bushings, it's the stabilizer rod, and I think that comes with bushings. So maybe I can find those at Energysupsension? In Norway that thing will cost me around 150 dollars, perhaps it would be...

Where to buy bushings online?

I usually order all my new MX-3 parts from Discount Auto Parts, but they don't offer any bushings for the car. Can somebody please tell me where I can find them? I need bushings for the rear suspension, I would assume that the best is to change everything at once, right?

Thanks in advance!

Seller: Marshmallow15

My wife broke the front driver side spring on her MX-3, and after a few questions here I was contacted by Marshmallow15. Great guy, kept his promises, everything went very well. He even sendt me a few items I really miss from my trips to the US: american crunchy peanut butter, Hostess cupcakes for m...

Re: Broken front spring with complications - what do I do?

Unfortunately my car is a grey import, imported by the local Mazda dealer from Germany. So Mazda Norway denies all responsibility for the car, and it took me several months to get the dealer to replace a headlight and a broken piston ring that were broken when I got it! I had to go to the Automotive...

Re: Broken front spring with complications - what do I do?

Wow! Now that's the silliest question I've heard so far! :D Of course! Providing they're OK and will give me some miles, of course. I take it you have changed to racing springs on your car?

I'm sending you a PM, then we can take this off the thread.

Re: Broken front spring with complications - what do I do?

Woi, scratch that! I need a new spring (two, it's probably silly just to change one). I squeezed the spring to get it off the side of the cup and found almost one whole coil there. So there's about noe and a quarter coil gone. So where do I get affordable springs, people? :(

Broken front spring with complications - what do I do?

My wife came home today with a surprise for me: A 4-5 inch long part of the left front spring broken off! And worse: One and a half coil of the rest of the spring has gone below the cup (is that the correct word?). I have a 1993 stock, and no aspirations as to do any street racing, I love the handli...

Low brake pedal - please help

I showed the MX-3 ('93, 4 cylinder) last week (you have to show it at an aproved garage every other year to keep your plates here), and the mechanic said that the brake pedal was to low. I have a friend who's very good at such stuff, and he had overhauled the rear breaks one week prior to this. New ...

Wanted: Left rear light

I tried Discount Auto Parts, but they only had the original Mazda, and it's pretty expensive. Does anybody have one for sale, or can anybody tell me where I can get one cheaper than the original?
Thanks a lot in advance!
[ June 05, 2002: Message edited by: Mastiff ]

What size tyres should I choose?

I've got four Wolfrace Costume 15" wheels (7" wide), but the tires are almost worn out. What size gives the best performance for the MX-3? I've been thinking about 205/55/15. The other alternative is 195/55/15. What should I choose?

Re: Help! My wife's stick goes through the floor!!!

Thank you very much, both of you. tk1138, I saw that thread, and a shorter shift would of course be nice...but I'm not sure my wife would appreciate it. I'll try to convince her.
RayRay, I finally understood what you meant, and with a bolt and two rubber bushings everything is working perfectly!A...

Help! My wife's stick goes through the floor!!!

Hi!
In my wife's '93 MX-3 4 cyl. the plastic that keeps the shift stick on the correct side of the floor is worn, so the stick goes through the floor.
I called Mazda here in Norway, and they can only sell me a complete unit, with stick and all the parts around it, for 350 dollars!
