Re: Shades - 1996 MX-3 RS

I fixed most of them... might take a while to load them all.

Thanks... I'm hoping to reach my Screaming 400hp, that GT3071R better do it's job!

Re: kelowna meet July 17-21 2008

When are the guys from Vancouver leaving? Are you making a big train up to Kelowna? Are you meeting somewhere in Vancouver to go up?

I'll be in Kamloops helping my best friend move... I'll see if I can sneak away.

Limegreen mx-3 wrote:why would u want a non high pressure pump

Re: RX7 Fuel Pump...

Alright... do they make a non-high pressure pump?

If not, will it work with my FPR?

RX7 Fuel Pump...

Hey... I'll be turbo'ing my BP soon and need to pump more fuel. I was told that I can either go Walbro or RX7 fuel pump... word on the street says that those Walbro's are pretty loud. The RX7 flows 222lph versus the Walbro's 255lph... so that's more than enough for me. I was wondering for those that...

Actually the rear bracket that houses the bushings are different in the different years. I had this problem too... you gotta find an MX-3 that has the rear bracket that holds the bushings that fits the bushing. The bigger brackets actually have a bushing that is oil filled, for vibration. Good luck,...

Air in the system there is... To fix this, prepare your coolant mixture... then start the car with the rad cap off. Just let it idle (do not rev it) and watch for bubbles in the rad cap... keep filling up the rad with your mix. When it doesn't take anymore mix then put the cap on and watch the engin...

Probably not cause the squish factor is gone once you torque it down. I wouldn't just to save you the hassle of taking the head off again. You probably have blow by marks from the head not squishing it down in the middle.

Your head is warped, plain and simple. Due to the excessive head when you overheated your engine, your head warped. That would explain how it's only running on 1 and 4 cylinders cause that's the only two surfaces that are actually mating with the block. You should take it off again and get it resurf...

Ok, I took a closer look at the wiring harness some more tonight. The ecu plugs are fine... it's the wires behind the ecu that I'm a little concerned about. All but one plug is not the same, actually not even there... I don't care. It's the other plugs that are the same that I am concerned about... ...

I have done the solid lifter swap into my BP head... the only reason one would do the swap is for a higher rev limit. You won't see much gains for HP since the cam is pretty much the same lift and the duration is slightly different. This is to compensate for the hydrolic lifter... Hydrolic versus So...
