Heard the FE3 Motor from the KIA Sportage is capable of boosting to 30psi at 400 ft-lbs i forget at what rpm. This guy in the Dominican Republic had a 10 second mx-3 with one only rocking forged pistons.

my hatch colliding with a median during a washout on the highway. There is now a hole in my hatch. I encounter exhaust fumes at highway speeds gets a little hard to breathe every now and then.

sounds like you have an intermitten misfire, are you running an internal or external coil. The internal coils are notorious for failing. Also make sure you timed the disty at TDC on the Compression stroke. on cyclinder NO. 1. Just because the pistons going up doesn't mean its the compression stroke ...

The internal coil often fails on these cars. Since they dont use a waste spark system its still heavily reliant on a distributor for ignition timing. A work around if your patient and savy is the external coil conversion. I did this with my car, it fixed the tachometer, misfire, and gave me better ...

okay it wasn't the water pump :lol:. Turns out it just didn't have any coolant in it. I returned the kit. bleed the new coolant in and what not.
