Re: I Didnt Know I Was Heal-Toe Shifting
I thought heel toeing involves operating the throttle and brake pedals simultaneously with the right foot, while facilitating normal activation of the clutch with the left foot and used when braking and downshifting simultaneously (prior to entering a turn), and allows the driver to "blip"...

Re: Couple Issues Could Use Some Assistance
I just use a nice thick bead of black permatex for my valve cover gaskets (sometimes even exhaust flange) never had a single drop come out of them since. I second the compression test. It'll tell you almost everything for your oil problem if you can't see noticeable leaks. A good sniff of the exhaus...

Re: KLZE Straight Neck
Thank for the info guys! So if I'm understanding my research correctly, the klze will function ok with k8 ecu and k8 vaf but to get it running to 'full' potential it is the kl31/36 ecu and the k8 vaf works with that? Unless i get a klde ecu and run a kl02 vaf? And how can you tell the difference in ...

KLZE? Or What?
edit: I've renamed this thread to what I think is a little more appropriate. Since I've received my engine now and i am trying to figure out what to do with it before i put it in. I've done some research on how much room there is to put in the straight neck and the curved neck and found out that th...

Re: Shift Stick Problems
Nice. I filled the area where the bushing goes with RV Black Silicone rubber stuff. It is holding it up really well! I am going to see how long this will last. I hope it works better than the mediocre system that was engineered.

Shift Stick Problems
I'm not sure if this goes in the transmission forum or what, but does anyone have a solution for stopping my stick from falling through the floor? It's happened twice now and I am not a fan of taking a tig to the place like my friend said to do. I'm tired of having to find and replace the rubb...

Re: How To: Front Knuckle Bearing Removal/Replacement
I will try to post a picture of a hub with the race on next to a hub without the race and list possible options for removal/replacement. Thanks for the info!

Re: How To: Front Knuckle Bearing Removal/Replacement
That was the part that I was replacing along with the bearings. the inner spline on it was all chewed up. But, my brother who is friends with the guy who does Keselowski's frame/body builds and rebuilds for his nascar and I think indy car. (My brother is the tire changer for Keselowski's indy car ra...

Re: My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!
Ha! You're funny. I got a set of race bearings coming in. I decided that I would protect them from rust while I was taking them all the way apart

How To: Front Knuckle Bearing Removal/Replacement
I couldn't find one on here and if there is, I am still going to post this one because I've seen a lot of questions about removing lug nut studs and bearing replacement and I personally think it's silly to buy another knuckle just for those reasons. :D So, I'll get right into it: Things you'll need:...

Re: Turbo kit
Just buy the pipes off ebay and go to a different place for the turbo and intercooler. Treadstone is a really good place to start. They have just about every option for intercooler/turbos. If you're trying to be cheap about it, it's not going to run right and you'll end up spending more money in the...

Re: My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!
Thanks! I'm trying to turn it into more of a rally build in the end. I'm dirt rally race pro and would love to drift around with the amazing suspension system of the lightweight mx3. I'll post some pics and vid links when I get the k8 on the ground. And what does this "stake" thing mean! A...
