Re: My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!

Painted the ol' bumper! turned out ok (except for the patching and coloration of the bondo on the left side  ) Before http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a410/icajewler/93%20Mazda%20MX3%20SE/IMG_20140117_171316_171_zpsc489edfe.jpg After http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a410/icajewler/93%20M...

Re: My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!

I plan to take it from its poor, broken state of rust and neglect :crying: and restore it to oem as best I can while adding in simple upgrades like the polyurethane bushing kit I'm assembling in the Suspension forum --> http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=81496 And of course whatever...

Re: My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!

Got my brakes installed! Finally working calipers. Means I can actually drive it around a little to test the engine out. It was snowing, so I didn't think about the pictures of the rear brakes. srry! http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a410/icajewler/93%20Mazda%20MX3%20SE/IMG_20140129_102659_120_zps...

Re: Polyurethane bushing kit (Part number collection)

I'm starting from mechanics manual and breaking everything down to the bushings and my final diagram will be the parts that can take poly bushings and where to find the correct ones without having to make your own. If you followed what I wrote earlier, the process was a given. I looked up the part n...

Re: Polyurethane bushing kit (Part number collection)

@WhiteFinish Can you correspond Spf part number to diagram part number? A link or instructions on how to obtain the parts would also be really hepful. Im attempting to make this simple to the extreme. So a person that really doesn't like dealing with suspension (unfortunately there's a lot of them o...

Re: Polyurethane bushing kit (Part number collection)

After a few minutes of looking through stealership diagrams I have attempted to compile a list of what parts are in our suspensions that require replacing, bushing and linkage wise. When i get back to my computer i will put the diagrams in this post and have a list under each (rear and front) of wha...

Polyurethane bushing kit (Part number collection)

Im working on redoing my rear suspension, and while doing it im going to go ahead and get all the bushings for the front. In the process of rebuilding (which will take a while, i am a young father with more than a full time job) i will be posting pics and attempting to compile a list of available pa...

Re: [WTB] KLZE Engine

I would love to try to buy that! An engine that is already halfway open is great. Where are you located? I'm in NC. And how much are you going for?

My Second MX3!!! 1993 SE!!!

I just bought a 93 GS. Looking at the car in general, the previous owner neglected it to the point of serious rust, although I'm surprised it does run and the only sound so far is the infamous mazda cam gear. Sorry for the pic quality, my camera is only half as smart as my smart phone. http://i1032....

Re: [WTB] KLZE Engine

I'm thinking about the klde because it seems like a somewhat easier engine to obtain and maintain. It's going to be heavily boosted and run into the ground almost every week. A monthly to bi-monthly rebuild is going to happen. But if there is another option for the type of performance I'm looking fo...

Re: [WTB] KLZE Engine

I've found a rust bucket of a 93 gs. I'm looking for the absolute most power you can pull out of this car. That is my current project. My next one will be a turbo k8. But for this one i want it to be a work horse. What are the steps i should take?

Re: [WTB] KLZE Engine

I live in Iredell Statesville NC and basically build cars in my free time. (which will be non-existent when i fix my back and continue my Army Ranger training) I don't really have any money and was really just wanting to know how the mx3 market was doing these days, along the lines of finding out if...

[WTB] KLZE Engine

I'm having a hard time finding a true klze. I've looked at three so far and they all had mismatched manifolds cams and pistons. I want the real klze j-spec. Any direction for me out there?
