Re: no fuel on my sparkplugs
Since the pump works, but no fuel is hitting the plugs, I would think it would be the injectors. Either bad injectors or wiring.

Re: Alamo_KL's Operation Unpurple 93 now with pics!
Rob- I do believe you're right. I found a thread on here the other day and thought..."THAT'S MY CAR!!!" kulluminati- I like the green, but I'm not sure if I want to keep them that color. Luckily spray paint is cheap so I can experiment before I get them powder coated Evo_spec- Thanks! Righ...

I'm thinking about duplicolor cast iron for the block, but this aluminum spray is awesome! It looks fake!

Re: Alamo_KL's Operation Unpurple 93 hopefully with picture
Also, I have Lotek shocks/struts and some lowering springs to replace the EBay 4" drop coilovers that were on the car. Those things suck! Ride is not very enjoyable, but I have to admit, I will miss the look. I will not miss bouncing my head off the roof or hearing everything that sits below th...

Re: Alamo_KL's Operation Unpurple 93 pictures work!
So far I have the motor out of the car and completely disassembled. I cleaned the crap out of the lower block half, and got the upper half as clean as I could. I have the block as clean as I can get it, so once I decide on a color for it I will paint it once I have my crank and pistons installed. I ...

Re: New and Confused with Pistons
As soon as some cash frees up I'll be running them to a local shop to have them cleaned and checked. I could do diassembly and cleaning here at work but it's a little...frowned upon. Most of the shops here look shady and run down, but I'm not going to judge them by their appearance, only their price...

Alamo_KL: Operation Unpurple back at the shop
Picked up this 230k mile 93 MX-3 with a ZE already swapped into it with 105k miles on the motor. Engine ran strong, but burned a TON of oil, so I'm going to rebuild her. Since it will be torn down anyway, I'm going to clean everything I can and while I'm at it I will be removing every last bit of pu...

Re: [WTB] KLZE Pistons
Clunet-I'll give your method a shot. Wife used to work for O'reilly so we still get some hookups. I tried some simple green and scothbrite but there was so much buildup I just tore up a sheet of my precious red scrubbers. MrMazda- Thank you for replying so quick on both posts. I've never really used...

Re: New and Confused with Pistons
Thanks for the replies! I'm going to try and salvage my ZE's. I don't believe they are damaged, but I'll inspect and measure the ever living crap out of them once I can get all the junk off. I've never had to determine piston condition before. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for? Or is it...

Re: [WTB] KLZE Pistons
The old pistons are crustier than a junkyard grill. Haven't had them cleaned and checked yet. My bore measures stock with a few minor exceptions from me twitching with the gauge. I was going to use the new pistons just because I paid for them, but if the old check good I will just sell the DE's.

[WTB] KLZE Pistons
I'm looking to buy (need to buy) a set of KLZE flat top pistons with the stock bore. With rods or without. I got a set of DE pistons and can't return them. PM if you have some and how much you want for them.

New and Confused with Pistons
I bought a 93 GS that already had the ZE swapped into it, but I burned oil like crazy. I'm in the process of rebuilding it (new oil and water pump, timing belt, tensioner, pulleys, head bolts, and gasket set) but have run into an issue. I got the pistons out of the block, and compared them to the on...
