Unfortunately I've not found out a single thing.
I've gone through the entire engine bay and checked every wire and connection I can get my hands on.

The only thing that causes the lights to dim is pressing on the break pedal.
So it's either the rear lights. Or something to do with the break ...

So just as an update to this if anyone cares =P

So O2 Sensor solved most of the problems I was having.
Cleaned MAF and TB
Went though and checked all Vacuum hoses
Changed Spark plugs and wires
Checked Disti
Checked timing
Replaced fuel filter

everything is stock, recently put in a new alternator and battery. within last 6months anyway. but this problem has been there since i purchased the car.

That's what I normally use is 87. Filled up today. 23.2mpg. Mix of driving.
im not that worried about mpg since I don't commute in my mx-3 for work. Ill probably stick with 87. Might try 89 and see if I notice any difference. Im not looking for power either. Just want to feed him what he wants lol

While i was tracking down my hesitation issue. I was only getting 95-110 miles per tank..... now Im at 194 miles and im just under 1/4 tank. And I've been driving little hard to feel the rev range. 70 miles since "the fix" and all seems very well. No CEL yet.
I think VRIS Solenoid #2 may still not be working. I had that code before the fix.
after 5500ish rpm the UMFFTH of the engine slows.

Hopefully this weekend I will do the plugs and log more miles.

So I got a wild hair up my arse and began going over the wiring of my car.
after tracing things out I found the wiring on the o2 sensor next to the radiator to be totally f***ing wrong lol.
Went to autozone and bought some crimp and heat shrink wire connectors and rewired it all properly. Started up ...

The car idles fine. except sometimes after driving around awhile, when i come to a stop, the RPM wont come down to its normal 700Ish RPM location and will stay up around 1200-1400RPM. doesnt seem to be effecting anything, just something that happens at random.

So i got the new alternator in today
Fired him up and he ran pretty good. Probably the best since ive owned him.
Still hesitates if i stomp the gas under 4k RPM but i expected that, still need to replace at least 1 of the o2 sensors and would love to replace my TPS
