Re: [FS] Suspension complete set up
Have you tried posting in the european mx3 and protege groups? Most of the members here are from North America where new struts shipped to our houses will cost less then your prices so you won't have much luck here.

Re: Need some mechanics assistance
So you're saying its a Hyundai?
Just kidding(mostly). Your shifting clunk sounds like a bad trans mount or linkage.
No idea on the IAC though, sorry.

Re: Vecia's 2ND Build: 93 20th Ann. Edition
Glad you got another one, I was a big fan of your last one. I honestly had no idea there was a 20 year anniversary one or that it was released in PR differently. Are there any other quirks to it being the anniversary edition? And I like those skirts, despite being aftermarket(I think). Cars body doe...

Re: bp tranny
It's important to get the trans from a Pro LX with the DOHC. The SOHC has the f series. The Kia Sephia also came with the BP and had an improved G series trans in it that you should try to pick up if possible. Check out clubprotege.com, the BP info here is fairly spotty but much more solid over there.

What exactly are you asking? Where to find one? What cars have them?

They are different. Wether or not they would function I couldn't tell you but they are different.

Re: Where did everybody go??
I like Imgur because of how easy it is. Photobucket is a bit of a mess now and imageshack doesn't always play nice.

Re: Where did everybody go??
For me it just got to the point where all of my drivetrain related questions and answers were with the BG crowd and it was most of them giving me help and advice anyway so there wasn't much point of keeping a worklog here. I also don't know a ton about the v6 stuff so I tend to not respond to any of...

Unfortunately I don't. They're very difficult to track down unfortunately.wytbishop wrote:Hey Rob,
You wouldn't happen to have a spare hatch garnish would you? I assume the spoiler you sold me earlier this year didn't come with one...I haven't had a chance to get down there to pick my car up yet.

Re: BJ strut springs on mx3?
I have BJ coilovers in my car, as well as one other member here. The fronts share a strut mount pattern on the top so a BJ mount would work, the strut however is wider where it meets the spindle. YOu could put a spacer in or swap in a GD spindle instead. If you do this you would need a BJ strut, BJ ...
