Re: synthetic vs. traditional oil...

if you want the best then "Red line" is the absolute pinicle of high quality oil....after that I would say "AMS oil" they have proven facts that they beat mobil hands down....mobil is a good chose for a decent cheap oil because it is cheaper then redline and alittle cheaper then ...

Re: Largest Nitrous shot?

hey buddy we are not talking about race motors...second 12:1 compression eh your dreaming buddy....top fuel dragsters use flat top pistons not domed pistons meant for race gas on N/A motors....but anyway enough with the arguing because we are talking about a stock motor here man not race motors and ...

Re: new import buyer

it depends on how much $$$$ you wanna spend.....i'd start small ie. intake header exhaust plugs wires.....strut bar, short shifter, lower it....then once you get settled with your car and the import scene then I'd go for a b6t if your cash flow allows it.....welcome to the scene and good luck man

Re: Need Experts HELP!!!!!!

first if the plugs are wet with fuel and there is spark that means that there should be combustion.....I would think there is something with the ignition that isn't working correctly

Re: Largest Nitrous shot?

the stock pistons on a SOHC MX3 cannot hold a 150 Dry shot of NOS or could not handle more then 8 psi at most......I can't believe that you people think this.....it is physically impossible for a motor with 9:1 compression to handle more than 13 psi without detonation I'm sure the bottom ends ie cra...

Re: Largest Nitrous shot?

ya right.... stock internals 400 hp.......these motors have 88 hp that's more then 4 times the stock hp....anyway I'd say a 50-65 shot on a healthy motor that has fuel and ignition for it......even then these motors are stressed

Re: NOS

It's safe but use it wisely.....upgrade your fuel system a bit....fuel pump, new fuel filter, get new plugs and better wires.....I'd play it safe and go with a 40 shot...it will be safer and will be easier on your clutch....remeber play it safe when dealing with this stuff

Re: How low to go?

ya or you can get Apex 1.7 inch drop suspension techniques 1.3 inch drop, and not pay double what good springs cost....plus you have to get koni or kyb shocks and struts for coilovers and with the springs above you will be fine with good stock ones.........but GC's are the best for sleeve coilovers ...
