Re: RS vs GS gauge clusters....different?

I'm going to do some looking around here at the salvage yards and see if I can't find one. I'll keep yours in kind if I can't find one. Thanks

Re: Air/Fuel ratio problems

Got some new Denso O2 sensors ordered last night. Should be able to see if that helps the situation maybe next weekend.

Re: RS vs GS gauge clusters....different?

I'm assuming when you say Canadian that it would be in KM/H rather than MPH?

RS vs GS gauge clusters....different?

I recently completed a KL-DE swap into my B6 RS MX-3. I have been having some high RPM issues while driving and was told this could be related to my gauge cluster registering too high. A little background....ever since I swapped the motor I have not been able to leave town as my RPM's are running ve...

Annoying blinking airbag light

I was wondering if anyone knows how or if it's possible to reset the airbag system so the light quits blinking. I unplugged my passenger side bag while I took my dash out and now the light constantly blinks. Is it possible to reset it on your own or does it have to be done by a dealership?
Thanks

Re: Air/Fuel ratio problems

Thanks for the direction. I will do some searching for your thread. The idle is a vibration with a slight stumble now and then. Nothing real drastic. Seems to drive down the road okay other than the hesitation under heavier throttle and I also have a high RPM issue. These two together make me wonder...

Re: Air/Fuel ratio problems

The O2's are not new by any means. The plugs and wires are new from the rebuild I had done. I cant guarantee that the plugs are gapped correctly since the guy that rebuilt the motor turned out to be an idiot. I guess I'll start by pulling a couple and checking them out. I know the disty is older as ...

Air/Fuel ratio problems

I am looking for anyone running a similar setup that has had air/fuel issues. I recently swapped a KL-DE into my RS 4 cylinder. Here is a little background on my setup: 2.5 KL-DE 5 speed Unknown ECU from 93 Probe GTS KL-02 Mass Air sensor Probe Addiction headers High flow Magnaflow cat 2-1/4" c...

Re: Issues related to O2 sensors

Yes everything is KLDE. I will have to triple check all the vacuum related items. But I didn't really get my question answered about the EGR leak. That is the last thing I can remember working on when the idle issue started. I'll have to check everything around it. Maybe something plastic broke whil...

Re: Issues related to O2 sensors

Yup I have checked the TPS, idle screw, timing, bought a new coolant sensor, and actually swapped out the entire throttle body assembly with a different one. Hasn't seemed to help. So I thought maybe there is a leak somewhere in my intake tube, so I am in process of swapping that out with a custom i...

Re: Issues related to O2 sensors

I didn't swap the coolant neck but I did add the second sensor. From what I have noticed most of the sensors and components are the same from the 93 to 97 klde. I have tried a different throttle body assembly with no luck which leads me to believe its something else. I am going to install a differen...

Re: MX3's in movies!!

If I remember correctly there is a silver turbo MX-3 in the Fast and the Furious as well. I didn't see that one listed.

Issues related to O2 sensors

I was wondering what types of issues can be related to faulty or incorrect O2 sensors? I have been trying to track down a high idle and hesitation issue for a while and realized I may have the incorrect O2 sensors installed. I am running a 93 Probe GT ECu (unknown number tag worn off) on my KL-DE fr...

Rockauto O2 sensors...which one to buy...

I was wondering if anyone has used the Ultrapower O2 sensors that Rockauto sells? They are half the price of a Bosch. Are they worth it or are they junk?
