Hehe, I have known two people who have roasted at least one trans. A lot of it is how you drive too, some people never figure that one out.

The bastard is Torquy though, I will give it that.

The list of possible things for this symptom could hit 20 items long. You can also take the lazy way out and raise your idle too.

When they said "and Up" what they really meant to say was "I really dont know so here is a number, although I imagine its not right." To have the quater panel replaced on my 94 it cost 2400 USD. They have to cut the panel off the car and weld a new one on. Its part of the Unibody...

Dont buy cheap parts, you tend to get what you pay for. Also it would be atleast worthwhile to inspet the timting belt. If it shows signs of age (Crqacking, missing teeth, looks corded) it would be worthwhile to change it while you are in there.

For a 4 cyl it is a better swap. ITs more direct, lighter, and has ample research already done on how to get more power. As for what else your asking, I have no clue what you said. Although google can really rock up currency converions http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&sa=X&oi=...

Yes there are none with FWD trannys. Although the non turbo version of the motor is FWD and the trans from that will bolt up.

Will it work and is it a good idea are often two very diffrent things. If the car it is in now runs and drives and is not wrecked I would seriosuly not bother with trying to swap the older motor into a newer platform, and just have a second car to rag on. You would need to do a lot of custom fabrica...

There is the chance that the person was a moron and spilled it there, there is also the chance you are not running the same viscosity of oil he did which could slow or even stop the leak.

Your valve cover gasket is leaking, you didnt put enough miles on your car yet to get the buildup back. It will return given enough time. Valve cover gaskets are fairly easy to do and usually are not that exspensive as well, just be sure you get a gasket kit with the plug seals as well. If your a do...

You can find a lot with searching but its a fairly simple swap still. I purhcased a whole front end clip of a protege, this made it easy because i had full wirirng harnesses as well as other odds and ends. The interior harnesses are plug and play with the protege ECU but you need to convert over to ...
