ECU's can be modified.

With the BP i had i would launch somewhere between 5-6.5k pending the sruface conditions. I would shift at 7800 in 1st and usually 7.5 there after.

Re: if your door wont lock,

can you pass texas state inspection? Yes, the inspection does not cover any of the locking mechanisms. also, if the inspectors pop the hood and see youve modded your car, will they press extra bs on you? iono, like, say you had a customized air intake system? There are not reserctions on modificing...

Either is easier said than done, there is shipping and the every present issue of how complete the long block is. Its very posisble that 400 does not include manifolds, brakets, sensor, and a slew of other things you need to make the motor function. With my old Mx-3 it was easy to regress it to an O...

When the resivor is low on fluid its usually close to time for a brake job or at bare minimum check the brakes all 4 corners of the car. Most of the brake systems are tuned so that when the pads are worn to near replacement the resivor is "low" and it will trip the brake caution indicator ...

Simliar concept to e PRM filter, although if you really wanted this desing cheap i belive ford trucks have been using a design simliar to this for years. It might be chevy but i am fairly sure its ford. Edit: Simota also makes one. I find these boxes for ~110$ which is fair price... But do they help...

This calls for some clarification. First off If you have excessive oil in the COMBUSTION CHAMBER which also called a cylinder yes it is a sign that the rings from the motor might be going bad. The mechanic you questioned on that is right, but dont freak out over this. As i said your description is v...

There is a night and day diffrence between obdI and II. Enough so that it would be rather numbing to give you all the details. II is way more advanced, complex, and more aware of the car.

If its a US model its obdII. I know jack s--- about canadain ones.

Your description is a bit vauge but going off what i know I assume you have oil in the spark plug holes. There is only two ways for oil to get into a plug hole, you can pour it in yourself or it can leak down from the valve cover. Lucky for you both of these are easy to fix. Nothing is odd about thi...

It would be easier and cheaper to throw a 50 shot on top of it rather than stripping everything out of the car. It also makes for a more pleasant ride.. :)

Faulty line, undue stress, or abrasion of the line. Look at the point where it severd. Was it a tear, did ti look cut, does it look like it was rubbed down and has a sorta U shaped dug into it?

As for the whining, just because its new does not mean its going to work or be good ;)

lol i love the weight reduction, but seriously you got like 7-8 pounds in speakers and wiring in their....LOL REMOVE IT! Noise levels get VERY intense inside a car that is as stripped as this. Part of the reason is to break the monatany and add a little bit of comfort. What you see above is one of ...

The manual uses around 4 quarts if i remember right. You can run just about anything to your hearts content in a mazda trans. Usually they come out of the facotry with Dexron or Gear oil pending application. I usually used Penzoil Syncromesh mixed with a few other things but it wears out faster than...
