i need the final piece to my puzzle of a transmission swap i need a back motor mount for a transmission that came from a 1.8l sohc b8 motor. mine came from a 1994. i have called every single parts store in my city and pretty well every junkyard and cannot find a mount. my uncle works at a part store...

so thats the nipple type thing there? i didnt remember taking a hose off it to begin with but i'm forgetful. thanks for your help fellas

hey whats the other line from the slave cylinder go to. ones a hard line that goes to master clutch cylinder but cant remember where other one goes thanks.

i need to find this out too for my swap as well.

so im nearing the completion of my swap. the lines that go from the radiator to the atx tranny do i need to plug those or what do i do there or do i use the rad from the 1.8l protege i scrapped. thanks

oh and as far as the idle goes thats not so bad but it should be around the 900rpms mark, maybe the owner before messed with idle screw.

if the car started when it was last used and your buddy had no problems starting his car before hand i dont see why it would be the starter but it may have something to do with the connection that goes to the starter. check the wires on the back of the starter if you can, make sure your grounds good...

A valve cover gasket isnt going to give you another 250 kms to the tank. I'd suggest change wires,plugs, distributer cap and rotor button. i didnt do the mod but the guy i bought the car off did all i can say is it doesnt leak and is the first car ive been in without a leaking sunroof which is a surprise because its the only car ive been in with a aftermarket sunroof.

hey so i finally got the clutch pedal in the car and all bolted in. i was looking at the atx and mtx tranny side by side and noticed that the atx that came out used a digital speed sensor while the mtx uses a cable speed sensor. both trannys are from 94s, mtx is from a protege that had NO TACHOMETER...

you must have forgotten to detach something maybe a plug or wire it should slide right off.
