i have my oil on hand, just not sure if im understanding this correctly:
you add it through the teeny speedo cable hole protruding from the side of the bellhousing? just at a dribble i guess? haha

post some pics ay? couldnt hurt?

the GS sounds like more fun to work with than my 4cyl.
is it in decent condition? not raced to hell an back?

about the little clip locking the axle inside the diff, i just used a sorbent towel to clear up some grease behind the boot,(don't forget to reapply) an had a friend gently pulling the axle out to expose it. pliers took it off real quick
