Sweet, thanks for the pic, Deep!
Was flourish orange also just nailpolish, or was it like a spraypaint? Do they still light up?

Re: Sam's Slammed 1.6 MX-3- LT Turbo project > Mono wiper.
Then wouldn't you have holes for the wiper arms in the wrong place? And no hole where you need to have a hole?

Re: Changing colour of Gauge Needles
Haha which ones do, Blake? The top ones are the AUS-spec spare ones I painted, the bottom ones are just JDM stock, but with the red backlighting (which only works now, not like 12 months ago when I first attempted to get it happening!!) Note the difference in redlines between JDM and AUSDM... :D :D ...

Re: matts 94 mx-3 gs build. MOARRRRR GOODIES
the break down would go something like this. cf hood and gas door. purple-bluish rims with the polished lip to go with the polished rocker covers, the raised lettering on the rocker would be painted to match the wheels, maybe the valley where the plug tubes purple as well. Sounds like a sweet plan!...

Bahaha! Even I know that, and I'm not really a 323 buff! I don't know if we had them sold here in Aus, but I know a few guys have them imported from Japan...wytbishop wrote:Head mechanic who has worked for Mazda for 30 years swore that it must be a conversion because Mazda never made a 4WD 323 in North America.

Nice work Mr. Custom! Looks great, looks like it gets pretty good coverage, too... I do agree with Moon on how high up it parks itself, but if it doesn't bother you, then that's what matters!
I'm assuming you're going to fabricate a custom wiper cowl, too, then? Fibreglass or something?

Re: Changing colour of Gauge Needles
Haha mine dont really light up necessarily, but they are well illuminated by the lights when in OEM white. I tried using a product similar to a red Nightshade on my spare cluster. I'm not sure if I just put it on way too thick or not, but it is impossible to see the needles in the dark with the ligh...

Re: Changing colour of Gauge Needles
Hmmm red nightshade... that's not a bad idea... I might give it a shot on my spare gauge cluster first! ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I didn't even realise Nightshade came in red... but then, I'm not sure how I thought people tinted their tails red, then... haha... I'm CLEVARRR!!! haha

Changing colour of Gauge Needles
Heyas, I know I've seen someone somewhere (Unless it was a dream!) who had an OEM gauge cluster, but they had somehow changed the colour of only the needle to red, and it looked mad... Now I've spent 2hrs trying to find it (I could've sworn I had commented on it, but cant even find it in the list of...

Re: Robert Teal (v6 trout) Mazda mx - 3. First project ever
Keep it OEM Mazda & 99% of people (even inspectors) wouldn't know the difference in appearance between a KL and a K8. Basically unless you use a Ford Probe-sourced engine (thus having a Ford logo on it) nobody would know the difference. Unless you hinted at it.
